The Grandview High School wrestling team will celebrate the 2010-11 season at the annual banquet in the Grandview High School cafeteria at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 2.

Grandview senior Josh Federico finished his high school career with a 4th place finish in class 5A at the 76th Annual Colorado State Wrestling Tournament. The team finished in 21st place with 23.5 points.  more ->

5 to State
(February 12, 2011)

 Grandview competed in Class 5A's Region 2 at Westminster High School on Friday and Saturday, February 11 and 12. The Wolves had 7 wrestlers win the traditional CHSAA ribbon for placing in the top six and the team finished in fifth place. The Wolves had 1 champion, 2 seconds, 1 third, 2 fifths and 1 sixth place finisher. The top four place finishers qualify for the State tournament that begins on Thursday, February 17 at the Pepsi Center. Grandview qualified 5 for State. (more ->)

2011 Regional Tournament

The dual season is over. The bye weekend is gone. And now, the most important part of the 2010-11 season and the final two weekends is here. Grandview is in Region 2 at Westminster High School. Matches are scheduled to begin on Friday, February 11 at 1:00 PM.  (more->)

JV Finishes Strong

Grandview's JV team finished the 2010-11 season with a second place finish at the annual JV State tournament held at Northglenn High School. Essevan Chun won the championship at 171 pounds.

League Champs, Again!

Grandview finished the 2010-11 Centennial League dual season with a 40-21 win at Eaglecrest on Thursday, February 3, and a perfect 7-0 record. They are Centennial League Champions, again!

Wolves win at Creek

Grandview won their sixth Centennial League dual of the season at Cherry Creek, 51-20, on Thursday, January 27 and they are one win away from their seventh undefeated league season and eighth league championship in nine years. They will wrestle at Eaglecrest on Thursday, February 3, in the final dual of the season.

Grandview will host the Sub Varsity Centennial League Tournament on Saturday, January 29. The Varsity team will compete at the Beast at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Wolves Beat Cherokee Trail

Grandview hosted Cherokee Trail in their final home dual of the season on Thursday, January 20. Wrestlers and Managers recognized their parents before the start of the Varsity dual by presenting them with a rose.  The Wolves won the dual 58-12 and face Cherry Creek next Thursday at Creek.  Aurora Sentinel review ->

Arvada West

Wolves Win At Smoky

Wolves Win Two

Grandview hosted a triangular match on Thursday, January 6 with Mullen and Arapahoe and won both. The Wolves beat Arapahoe 62-15 and bested Mullen 73-0. The triangular format included two mats and three rounds where each school was split in half by every other weight to create six teams.  Four teams competed in each round which kept each school active thoughout the competition.

This was Youth Night and Grandview Youth Club wrestlers were recognized individually before the start of the varsity match for their support of the Grandview High School team.

Wolves at Reno
