Grandview Youth Wrestling Club wrestlers are proud sponsors of the High School team and were recognized individually on Youth Night, Thursday, January 21, before the varsity match.  Each wrestler was presented with the high school season poster and, to keep with the tradition, received autographs from the varsity wrestlers following the varsity match.

Grandview wrestled their fifth league match of the season at home against Cherry Creek on Thursday night, January 21, 2010.  The Wolves jumped out to a quick 18 - 0 lead when 140 pounder David Rose, 145 pounder Derek Olson and 152 pounder Jakob Fisher pinned their opponents.  Cherry Creek came back in the next four matches to tie the score at 18-18 benefiting from a Grandview forfeit at 189.  Jimmy Short got things back on track with a fall in the third period followed with falls by Josh Federico (103), John Godin (119) and Sean Burroughs (125).  Eddie Palomares (112) and Dan Godin (130) picked up a wins by forfeit and Sal Sorisi finished the dual with a major decision in the 135 pound match and Grandview won 58-18.
