The Wolves traveled
to Boulder on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 to wrestle their third
Centennial League match of the season against Fairview.
They enjoyed a comfortable lead until losing
matches at 125, 130 and 135. With three
matches remaining, Grandview lead 30 - 22.
Josh Starr's major decision gave the Wolves a 12
point lead with two matches remaining.
Fairview needed to pin in the next two matches
to tie. Matt Fedderson was wrestling up a
weight class and lost by major decision but that
was good enough to ensure the Wolves a victory.
Bryce Lucherini padded the score with a win by
fall in the second period over Adam Stephens to
make the final score 40 -26.
