Eaglecrest traveled to Grandview on Thursday, December 13, 2007
with hopes of breaking the five time consecutive conference championship
streak that the Wolves are enjoying.
The last two duals between these two teams have been decided in the
final match. This years dual looked like it could come down to the
final match as well. The dual started at the 103 pound weight
class and the score was tied at 12 after the first four matches and
again at 16 after the first six matches. The Raptors took the lead
19-16 when Gage Fell decisioned Matt Fedderson but the Wolves took it
back for good when Josh Starr won by major decision over Wayne Stafford.
The Wolves won 152, 160, 171, 215 and 275 by pins to secure the victory.
