Dan was born in Philadelphia, Pa and he is the oldest of 3 boys. Dan is married to Gina and together they have two future wrestlers: Vincent - 3 and Dominic - 1. Dan wrestled at Grandview, alongside Coach Budd and Coach Timberman. Dan was a state finalist in 2005 and the first wrestler from Grandview to do so. Dan was on the Colorado Dual Team from 2001-2005 and the Colorado National Team from 2002-2005. In college, Dan wrestled for Oregon State with one of his brothers, Jonny. Dan started for Oregon State all four years and was a PAC 10 finalist in 2010. During his time at Oregon State, Dan was a Greco All-American, placing 6th at University Nationals. |
